Overview

The Harrow Collegiate Alliance is a network of 22 schools both primary and secondary predominantly in the Harrow local authority. Together we have established a strong network which is rooted in the principles of collaboration, excellence and challenge.

As a collegiate we deliver a series of professional development programmes aimed at all staff at all stages of their careers. Our programmes are intended for primary, special and secondary schools. They are planned and delivered by staff working across our partner schools who have an insight into the demands of the role and are at the forefront of developments in teaching and learning.

There are a range of stimulating programmes planned for this academic year and which we anticipate will interest you. This includes cognitive precision development, presentation skills, aspiring leadership programmes, shadowing projects and being more mindful in the workplace.

We also run curriculum focus groups for subject leads termly as well as organising for a selection of guest speakers throughout the year offering advice, support and guidance on areas of school improvement planning.

As part of our commitment to the national teacher recruitment and retention strategy, we work as local delivery partners with Teach West London to embed the Early Careers Framework.

We hope you enjoy our portfolio of programmes which showcase our ethos that learning is for life.
